UK:
Jason and Amanda have been dancing and performing salsa
together for over 8 years. They both started salsa in
London and have since travelled to Cuba, New York, LA,
and Europe in pursuit of furthering their dancing which
has influenced their smooth blend of styles. Their love
for salsa first took them to New York in 1997 where they
learned to dance ON2 with some of New York’s finest
and now specialise dancing and teaching on2 in London
and around the UK, and are presently one of the UK’s
top instructors. Teaching as a couple Jason and Amanda
are able to demonstrate turn patterns, footwork and body
movement from both the men and ladies perspectives and
breakdown even the most complicated of moves clearly and
precisely, as well as adding that little bit extra!
Jason and Amanda choreograph and direct their own dance
group – The Manhattan Mambo Dancers. Formed in the
summer of 2002 they quickly grew to become one of the
UK’s most prominent groups and one of the most established.
They have taught and performed with their troupe at many
presitigous events around the UK, including Salsa UK Congresses,
Mambo City 5* Congress and at numerous Pontins weekenders.
